Original Note:

HPV vaccine skeptics cite a 2022 study which saw increasing cervical cancer rates from 2001 to 2018. The largest increase was in women aged 40-45, who are generally too old to have gotten the HPV vaccine. https://ijgc.bmj.com/content/32/9/1115 Other studies saw decreasing cancer rates in girls and young women. https://www.cancer.gov/news-events/cancer-currents-blog/2020/hpv-vaccine-prevents-cervical-cancer-sweden-study
